When the company started, agriculture and the possibilities to save energy and improve animal welfare with the help of heat exchangers were the main focus.
The first heat exchangers were installed in broiler houses at Rokkedahl Landbrug in the same year that the company started. The results were so great that even more heat exchangers were installed in barns with broilers the following year – this time also in barns outside the Rokkedahl Group.
It soon became clear that the heat exchanger had a great effect on barns with broilers and laying hens. Therefore, the next step was to look at other livestock, including pigs, where the heat exchanger helps with the good indoor climate by ensuring good air quality and better well-being among the pigs in the barn.
